WOW! Has it been a while since I've posted!! I've been so crazy busy lately, it's like a never have time to just RELAX! It's been fun though. So many things have happened. 

First: We'll start off with announcing...I'M ENGAGED!!!!! *happy dance* (that's a story and a post for another time, I could go on for dayyysss talking about my absolutely incredible fiancé Blake!! I promise I will post about that soon. (;

Second: This week I will be starting an 8 week internship with JA Runway | Personal Styling. I am more than excited to start!! This is going to be such an amazing opportunity and I'm so ready to jump in and start learning the ropes! 

Okay, okay..I just couldn't resist to wait - sooo, here is a sneak peak of what is to come regarding my engagement! (;

I have kind of slacked with my posts lately, I have just been crazy busy! Here I have pictured a newest skirt of mine. I decided to post two different ways I have styled it recently. I love how fun and frilly it is! 

The second outfit with Blake, I was kind of excited to post. This is us on our way to our Post Valentines Dinner Date. We have a very hard time coming up with poses other than just standing next to each other, so this is what happened when we tried to change it up a little.. lol

Valentine's Day Memories

   I've decided to change this blog post up a bit. I wanted to take a moment and brag on this amazing guy. He has a passion and a drive like no one else I have ever seen. He makes my days brighter and I couldn't be happier. 
  
   He always knows what to say at the right time. He has become close to some of my best friends and supports them in everything they do. That for me is huge. He has a passion to help and serve others, it's truly inspiring. He has become close to my family and especially close to me. It still baffles me how I became so blessed to have Blake in my life.
  
   These pictures are from a few days ago, we decided to have a mini photo shoot. I had originally planned on posting something different on my blog, but after these pictures I just couldn't resist. 

   Blake is an amazing person. He has a testimony like no other. I'm so thankful to be a part of his life and I am so excited to God's calling unfolding in his life, as well as my own. He is my strength and inspires me to be a better person. As someone once told us..we are a "power couple." I see and feel daily God molding and strengthening us to be better persons. I'm excited for what the future holds.

Mix it Up

The skirt I am wearing in this post was a skirt I made myself as a school project this past semester. I really do not like sewing much at all but I guess that's what comes along with being in the fashion industry. You've just got to know these things.. 

Also, these shoes have become some of my favorites. I had the privilege of working a day for Joyfolie when their office was here in Houston. When I interviewed with them they were only a few months away from relocating to Colorado. I was just not ready to leave my family to move away from Houston for a job. Their team is so sweet and I am hoping to do an internship with them in CO come time to do so within my college semesters. 

Last but not least, my pup, Jake. This little guy is the newest addition to the family. Shortly after Christmas my cousins rescued him from the side of the road. They tried to find the owner but no one would claim him. I had just recently lost my own dog Teddy on Thanksgiving as he was hit by a car. I had had him since I was 10 years old, and wasn't sure if I was ready for another dog yet. However, when I walked into my cousins house on New Years Eve and saw little Jake curled up under the Christmas tree, so timid and scared from all the people around, I fell in love! I took him home with me 2 days later! He was the shiest little pup I had ever seen, but it wasn't long until he really came to life and made himself at home. This little boy has got the cutest personality. I'm a proud little owner. :)
